Our experience with the support team has been wonderfull and very helpfull. I would like to point out what it is like to have "OUTSOURCED" TECH SUPPORT!.... If you have ever experienced such a nightmare than Hostmonster is a light at the end of the dark tunnel!.

We have never been on hold for over 2 minutes!
We have never been treated with disrespect!
We have never been left with out a solution ever!
We have never had to call back to get helped!
We have never been brushed off or put on HOLD!

If you have video feed going to your URL that is hosted by Hostmonster than you should call them and ask the best way to up/down load it to your sites server...

Beware the fine print.

You get what you pay for. Pay no attention to claims of "unlimited bandwidth and storage." The fine print states clearly that they can cancel your account for any reason at any time. A few years ago I was hosting Linux ISO downloads while their cap was a "measly" 3TB/month. I hit 2.1 TB during the 3rd month and they cancelled my account claiming I was "affecting other accounts." I negotiated to stop hosting ISOs and they recanted.

Front Page issues

Do not host with Host Monster if you or your clients want to use Microsoft Front Page! Very disappointed on how many times I have to re-install the extensions.

Help Desk is not any better, they say it is a Microsoft issue. Well hello, I have sites on three other providers and maybe once a year, if, have to reset them.

Stable good uptime be aware of HIDDEN LIMITAITONS

I have been with them for a year now.. as I had some time to fix some scripts.... I noticed that they have severe limitations CPU 60 seconds and also mysql.
Meaning if you want to have a video upload site if it takes more than 60secs to upload it will not work. ffmpeg is not supported also.

good for simple webiste with few hundred visitors and not heavy mysql. My site with 600 visitors per day is having downtimes becasue of cpu limitations..

Pretty Solid for a Shared Hosting Service

I've been using Bluehost and Hostmonster for years now. While Hostmonster on occasion times out (when the server is too busy), otherwise they have pretty good customer support. For a shared hosting option at the price they charge, they're a great option I think. Review Added on: 2008-07-01

Horrible uptime

Maybe my server with them is just jinxed, but my uptime with Hostmonster has been dreadful for the past year. It got so bad I put a monitoring script on a third party site to ping every ten minutes, and I record an average of 1-2 hours down per month and in the month of August 2008 I have lost four hours so far. Despite repeated support calls and tickets the problem has not been fixed.

The likelihood of getting a knowledgeable support member on the phone has also dropped from about nine out of ten to about two out of ten. Review Added on: 2008-08-07

I think it should be more like 7 out of 5.
I used webhostingpad.com and others.
However, none of the other host except hostmonster support 24/7 contact, fast supporters, TRULY UNLIMITED DISKSPACE AND BANDWIDTH.
